Germania mint witchcraft series

Done by Mateusz Frąckowiak, who also did the Knights of the Past and Valkyries series. My google-fu can't find anything he's done outside of his work for Germania. Seems he's a bit of a perv, though.

He worked from the kurowski group before join the germania team under Natalia Danysz. When they do their faces or design the bodies for a man or a woman Germania mint have done some weird perceptions on how the average body should looks like. The first knights of the past Was the first coin I got from them. I do have most of it

What is worse is that I found another coin NOT by Germania to be released soon that looks in the exact shape.

Are Germania buying cheaply? and just making stuff up as they go?

Explains the get rich quick idea they have. Buy low sell 4x's more.

It's possible that they're getting the planchets from a third party, and that party is flogging the same planchets to somebody else.

I dont want to bash the Germania Mint, but they are not really keeping up with the quality they used to.

I hope they are not falling like so many other makers.

Have to agree with the consensus here, looks like Germania just took a Valkerie and slapped her in a bikini and changed the shape of the round in an attempt to make it look like something different. I've always had my suspicions about Germania, it was all those weird and wonderful colourways all at a premium of course that seemed a bit off.

I get the sense that they might have overextended themselves.  I guess with Knights, Mythical Forest and Allegories finishing up at the same time they've suddenly gone Oh shite! we need products.  The Copernicus coin wasn't as inspired as the Knights, although it seems Bank of Malta is up for producing this sort of stuff.

I'm not sure who thought doing the fanservice on the Witches coin was a good idea but I guess the Valkyries must have gotten some vocal fanboys so they came out with something to flog to that demographic.  The Witches does feel like a trashier version of the Valkyries.  At least Hildegard isn't wearing a chainmail bikini.

It's also possible that the market for silver collectibles is tightening in general.  Folks were a lot more bored during COVID and now we're through that and looking at a distinctly dodgy economic outlook.
