Oscar definitely looks to have grown @Jazz . I don't suppose you'll be carrying him around much these days.

I don't have any pets, I just feed any passing animal or bird. Sadly no foxes, squirrels or Badgers on the Isle of Man. All birds & hedgehogs are well fed though together with passing cats. This is picture of an owl in my garden young long eared:

Wow, that is certainly  fantastic photo  @Squirrelling coins . We hear owls at night, but I haven't seen them. However, we also have badgers (seen one exploring in the greenhouse, but he was unimpressed and didn't spend long in there), foxes and squirrels (the grey ones, unfortunately). There is also a small herd of roe deer who pass through on a regular basis. As a gardener, I am less than happy with the holes dug in the lawn, the nameless deposits and the ringbarked young trees, but I do like to see the beasties. I am much happier with the frogs and newts in the pond, even though they don't seem to make much of an impact on the slugs and snails, and the bats who visit and circle round the streetlight hoovering up the insects who are attracted to the light. A buffet for the bats!

I used to have to deal with rabbits on all sorts of farms and grounds.

You can thin then out for a bit but they always come back.

It was a job that I took seriously. Them plus Rooks, Crows, Occasional Deer, 1 Bull, some foxes.

All over I did a lot of pest control.

That could be your next avatar, @Jazz . You could even balance a wine glass on his tummy for continuity.
Oscar is certainly growing up.

This is Mosset our 17 year old Jack Russell named after the Mosset Burn in Forres, she is still quite spry on her day for a old girl.
