It is Summer time

With Summer for most having just started what are your plans, if any?

Being married to a Teacher,  the tremendous joys of watching a teacher unwind by being a tornado around the house and garden start.

If you don't know what I am talking about ask anyone who is married to a teacher,  Or grew up with a parent that was one

I will just say that the first few days are crazy!!!! House gets a make over,
They clean everything at least twice.
They tend to have very ambitious plans like stripping an entire room down to the structure and rebuilding it again.
Seriously

So what are your plans, and if your a teacher your probably not reading this because your too busy with DIY time.

Maybe ask her to design an air conditioning system for your workshop, as an initial project.

Maybe she can come and help clean my garage/workshop out that's my plan ....oh and make a few more vids for YouTube and get that golllllld!!

Well, I’m considering an early local celebration of the ‘Burning Man’ festival – just feels appropriate....I’m chilling on some Carolina Chilli Peppers & drinking Naga chilli vodka. Wow is it cool. We're having the local variant (if I can still use that word): The Melting Jon Festival. Chillies and vodka may or may not be involved. Ice cream certainly will.

I am dying!!! Why is it that " her projects " become MY priority!!
I am just in from doing soo many dang projects and none ate mine!!! I am sure Ganga Khan or Smiltler were nicer than my wife.

@AceBullion - Has the wife buried you man, after reading your posts? Or are you occupied with all those projects...???

No I am alive " Just" .

Teachers will spend the first week or 2 cleaning and making changes to the house.

Why Who knows???

There does come a point where we just smile and say we'll we did X Y Z... Ie now .. so the rest of their holidays mean I won't get bothered to do anything
