YouTube Question... I need answers please.

Is everyone getting the notifications on YouTube when I put out a video... I know I post it on here too.

But recently checking the information and I noticed something shocking... So i am asking if everyone is getting the notifications on time... or not at all?

I'm sure I had notifications turned on, but they were off, just turned it on (again if I had in the first place).

It is something I have heard from a number of YouTuber's that subscribers have had their notification settings altered or subscriptions un-subbed. I don't know if its a bug or not. Seems fairly common, though this is the first time I've experienced it as a subscriber.

I had your channel notifications on, but i'll be honest i cant say for sure if i'm getting notifications or not?
Can't really say i've ever noticed them but i usual just go down through my subscriber tab everyday & watch everyone's videos 1 by 1, either through my lunch break on my phone or when i get home from work & i'm on the pc, so i never miss anyone's videos even on the one's without notifications.
I did just turn your notifications off & turn then back on again, although it was originally set to "personalised" so don't know if that makes any difference?
Anyhow i've now just set it to "all" so as soon as you post the next video i'll come back & update you with my findings.

I was looking and something very very strange was happening.... besides a lower view count... the number of people who clicked on the notification was counted in a single hand!!!


This is highly odd as a lot of the regulars and even channel members weren't replying.

I reached out to loads of people and I believe it to be a YouTube issue... I am going to speak with them. But argh.

And I know I am not the only one... not that I should feel good about that. I have to say I was horribly shocked and thought no one loved me. LOL

Right so a quick update.
I can confirm i did get notified about your latest video today, it was in the list when i clicked on the bell icon on the pc & the video was also on my YouTube home page.
I also turned on my 2nd phone that i use for games & i had a YouTube app notification pop up saying you posted on there too.
So not sure if that helps, yes notifications are coming through for me now but i did turn off notifications, set them to "all" & then turn them back on before the test so i don't know if that effected the results?
Either way hope you get to the bottom of it
