Madagascar silver coins?

Not sure of this is the correct place on the forum for this question?

If it is, does anyone know of the Madagascar government has ever produced a silver coin or coins?
If so, any idea where I can locate one to purchase?

Both countries appear to have had silver coins produced on their behalf, albeit in .925 fineness. Here are links to a website which describes the coinage (silver and non-silver):

As to where they might be available, I would suggest you look at the various dealers' websites - even eBay, with the usual warning of buyer beware - and a quick Google search may throw up stockists. It is fair to say, though, that these two countries don't seem to be among the foremost producers of bullion.

An update

I ordered the 1978 silver proof set from B&G coins based in Spalding via there website online on the eve of the 5th June and they where delivered by the 7th!
Good delivery, item as described and the price was cheapest in the UK (I could have got it for less from a French dealer but it would have meant a longer wait).
I would happily recommend the company, the customer service was top notch.
